3rd International Symposium on Ecological Architecture and Planning

22–25 October 2009 | Antalya The 3rd International Ecological Architecture and Planning Symposium, organized through the collaboration of the Antalya Branch of the Chamber of Architects and the Chamber of Architects Headquarters, was held in Antalya on 22–25 October 2009. At the third symposium, following the first two events held in 2005 and 2007, the subjects of ecological architecture, sustainable planning, and energy efficiency were addressed at both the national and international levels. Studies conducted in these fields, developed design and planning approaches, new technologies, application examples, and proposed solutions were opened for discussion with broad participation. The symposium brought together academics, architects, urban planners, researchers, and professionals from related disciplines, providing a platform for the sharing of knowledge and experience in the fields of ecological architecture and sustainability.
